How does HAVS Protect compare with other hand-arm vibration monitoring systems?
HAVS Protect is a wearable sensor worn on the hand that measures the vibration reaching each worker and counts HSE points live, alerting at 100 and 400 points. Other systems differ mainly in where they sit (wrist, fingers or tool) and in whether exposure comes from vibration measured on the worker or from trigger time multiplied by a pre-set tool magnitude.
