How we calculate your savings

1. Risk calculation

We use a conservative estimate of 4% annual risk per exposed worker. With real-time monitoring, ~70% of serious injuries can be prevented.

2. Cost items (UK)

  • Compensation claims: £225,000
  • Sick leave costs: £35,000
  • Recruitment & training: £22,500
  • Legal & admin costs: £27,500
  • Insurance premium increases: £27,500
  • Production loss: £35,000

Why is this a problem?

❌ THE PROBLEM WITH TRADITIONAL MEASUREMENTS:

Result: You THINK you are safe, but are still exposed

How does it work?

✅ HOW HAVS PROTECT WORKS:

  1. ATTACH THE SENSOR → easy to put on left or right hand
→ pair the sensor with the HAVS Protect app
  2. WORK AS USUAL → Measures automatically while you work
  3. GET REAL-TIME WARNINGS → Immediate warning as you approach exposure limits
HAVS Protect thumbs up

The difference is obvious

❌ Traditional measurements

  • Relies on manual vibration values
  • Reactive – finds damage too late
  • Inaccurate time estimates
  • Manual logging (easy to miss)
  • 73% develop symptoms anyway

✅ HAVS Protect

  • Continuous monitoring 24/7
  • Proactive – warns before damage
  • Real data every second
  • Automatic documentation
  • Detect & stop BEFORE symptoms

Frequently Asked Questions

Can we share a sensor between multiple workers?

Yes. Your vibration data is linked to your account, so each user must have their own account.

How long does the battery last and how do I charge it?

The battery is designed to last under 2 full 8-hour workdays.

You charge it with a USB cable that has a magnetic contact to the sensor.

How do I get started with the sensor?

1) Charge your sensor until the LED lights up green.

2) Install the HAVS Protect mobile app.

3) Register an account in the app and log in.

4) Connect your sensor. The device is named HAVS-A followed by a number (found in the list of nearby devices).

5) The app's home page shows that the device is connected.

6) Start working. The sensor sends data to the app every two seconds and the app sends to the cloud once per minute.

Can I use gloves with the device?

Yes, the safety instructions even state that you should use gloves over the device. This provides better measurements and reduces the risk of anything getting caught in the elastic band.

How accurate is the device when measuring vibrations?

The device measures vibrations across three axes in the range of 6.3 to 1250 Hz, fully compatible with ISO 5349 standard.

These vibration values are frequency-weighted and adapted to the HAV point scale.

Is the sensor waterproof?

The housing is sealed and the electronics are protected, so yes – the device tolerates water and dust.

It is IP21 tested but handles significantly more moisture.

Connected Worker – the next step in workplace safety

HAVS Protect is more than a sensor – it's part of a Connected Worker platform where people, tools and data work together for a safer and more efficient workday.

Real-time field data

Get insights directly from workers via sensors and app.

Predictive safety

Identify risks before they become injuries.

Integrated HSE data

Combine vibration exposure with other HSE systems for comprehensive control.

Permanent

Vibration injuries are irreversible

⚠️ Important to know:

Vibration injuries develop gradually. When symptoms appear, the damage is already permanent. 73% of construction workers already have symptoms – but it can be stopped BEFORE it starts.

The question is not if but when the next vibration injury is discovered in your organization. Every day you wait is a day someone can be injured – permanently.
